Today I will be sharing with you guys a simple recipe that can be used for glazing a variety of baked goods. This glaze makes a delicious addition to muffins, cakes, quick breads, and cookies; it is easy to make, and can be thrown together in less than five minutes.
As written, this recipe is vegan, and gluten-free. As long as you make sure to use a Top 8 Friendly non-dairy milk, it can also be free of the Top 8 most common allergens! If you are not avoiding soy, this recipe is also very good with the original soy-based EarthBalance.
All in all, this is one of our favorite options for icing baked goods. I hope you all enjoy it as much as we do! 🙂
Easy Vanilla Glaze
*Top 8 Allergen Free, Gluten Free, Vegan
– 3 tablespoons non-dairy milk
– 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
-1 tablespoon Soy-free Earthbalance (Dairy Free Margarine), melted
-1 1/2 cups confectioner’s sugar
-A pinch of salt (optional)
1.) In a medium sized bowl, melted margarine, non-dairy milk, vanilla, and (if desired) salt.
2.) Gradually add confectioners sugar to the bowl, stirring well, until all sugar has been added, and glaze is smooth, and creamy.
3.) Use immediately.
